The Lord Has Need Of Him

*…..The Lord has need of him….by pastor Charles C Elliott

We’ll get to this account in a minute or two but let me begin by asking you a question…..What does it mean to “walk in the Spirit?” Let me use a simple illustration, that I think we can all relate to. When you were growing up, do you remember those times when you took hold of your dad or mom’s hands and placed your feet on top of their feet and walked around the room? Every time they raised one of their feet, you raised your foot. You see, what you were doing was “WALKING IN STEP” with them, and synchronizing your walk with theirs.

Now we can’t physically walk with the Holy Spirit like that, so how do we walk with Him? Actually walking with the Spirit involves two things, one is a negative the other is a positive.

(first) To walk with the Spirit means we DON’T walk in the ways of the FLESH. In other words, we don’t live to PLEASE ourselves, but to please him.

(second) To walk with the SPIRIT means to stay, abide and remain in step with Him choosing a lifestyle that pleases the Lord rather than pleasing ourselves. It’s like the picture of the Lord walking with a child who is looking around everywhere and distracted by everything.. discovering and curious about the world, not realizing that all the answers to everything is holding his hand….

The bible gives us the conditions we are called to reign in…..2Timothy 3:1 "This know also, and be convinced, that in the last days perilous times shall come."

As the Apostle Paul is lying in his cell, a prisoner of the Lord, as he writes this, he is still preoccupied with the future of the gospel. His mind dwells now on the evil of the times, and on the indifference of Timothy. Timothy is so weak, and the opposition so strong." Paul is concerned that Timothy may not be strong enough for the perilous times that are coming….The word translated “perilous”,. has the idea of troubles, difficulty, and stressful situations. It goes far beyond your luggage not arriving at the airport the same time you do….This sort of perilous atmosphere will mark the last days and it calls for an added measure of discernment….accountability and spiritual perspective….

.It is a word that is used in classical Greek both of dangerous wild animals and of the raging sea. Its only other New Testament occurrence is in the story of the Gaderene demoniac who was as savage and untamed as the wild beasts .and whom Matthew describes as 'so fierce that no one could pass that way' (Matthew 8:28)." The bad times Paul will describe speak of the Godless people who create the bad times. We should notice that the peril and danger at this time is not just war, it’s not just famine or diseases, it’s not other calamities or ills that befall the body, but it includes the wicked and depraved ways of men. The pervading thinking today is question everything, believe nothing….if you can’t eat it, put it in the bank, or spend it, it’s not important…..

.A critic once wrote a letter to a Christian magazine saying, "Over the years, I suppose I've gone to church more than 1,000 times, and I can't remember the specific content of even one sermon over those many years. What good was it to go to church 1,000 times?" The next week, someone wrote back: "Over the past many years, I have eaten more than 1,000 meals prepared by my wife. I cannot remember the specific menu of any of those meals. But they nourished me along the way, and without them, I would be a much different person!"

The Bible will do its spiritual work in us, if we will let it. The word of God gives us eternal life (1 Peter 1:23).                                       The word of God spiritually cleanses us (Ephesians 5:26).                                                                                                              The word of God gives us power against demonic spirits (Ephesians 6:17).                                                                                      The word of God brings spiritual power to heal our bodies (Matthew 8:16).                                                                                      The word of God brings us spiritual strength (Psalm 119:28).                                                                                                          The word of God has the power to impart faith, hope and love unto us (Romans 10:17). John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have already overcome the world.”

If He overcame the world, we overcome also for this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith in His finished work and victory!!! There are victories that are yours before the battle begins, before the struggle starts, before you even realized there was a conflict….before and during the perilous times which Paul tells us about. Having been abandoned as a child, the scripture I’m going to share, has long been one of my favorites, because it talks about generational legacies through faith…that graft us in as heirs of God….

Romans “4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not only to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness which is by faith”.

Your inheritance includes reigning over every area in your life that has ever caused you pain!!!

We may be lonely, but we are never alone, when it looks like things are out of control, our God holds the universe in the palm of His hands. When it looks like we’re not going to make it, He already has, and He says “come follow me”. When it looks like there’s not enough, He is more than enough. He was before the beginning and He will be there at the end, for there is no end with Him!!!

1 Chronicles 29:10 is a declaration and exaltation of praise, which every child of God should memorize for all the seasons of their lives…. “Blessed are You, Lord God, our Father, forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all."

You can’t lift up Jesus without getting lifted up yourself… You can’t exalt Him without being exalted…..!! The bible tells us that when we were baptized, we were raised up to live in Christ, immersed in His Spirit of life and overcoming power….Paul says we are now raised in His likeness!!!! WOW!!!

Now what happened is that as we received Christ, and walked out of the baptismal tank….we left a trail of water everywhere we went….we were loaded with death when we went in, and we were dripping with overcoming life when we came out!!!! We are in the world, but not of the world……as a result of this, the bible tells us that they can kill our body, but they can’t kill the part of us that is in the likeness of Christ….. I want to draw your attention to a powerful principle in …the gospel of Matthew, which I believe is important in “living in the Spirit” in perilous times…..

Matthew 21:3…..This is where the disciples were sent to fetch a colt of a donkey for Jesus to ride through Jerusalem on….He gives them some very important instructions, so they wouldn’t be distracted, or persuaded differently… “And if any man shall ask you, you shall say, The Lord has need of him”…..

When you are given an assignment, or a task to accomplish…..you need to stand on this powerful commission! The Lord, has need of him….. or the Lord has need of them! What was needed was immediately released…. There was no hesitation, and no struggle….. “THE LORD HAS NEED OF IT”!!!! Finances, personnel, circumstances, resources….and other supply….. When God needed apostles, evangelists, prophets, and teachers, to shake the whole world, He reached down to a remote place in Galilee, and chose some fishermen, a tax collector, a revolutionist, and some women, to get the job done…. When God needed a Paul….He took Saul, the dreaded killer of christians…. What can He do with this bunch today!!!!!???

.I want to read further in this portion of scripture ….Luke 19: 32 “And they that were sent went their way, and found it was even as he had said unto them. 33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why are you untying the colt? 34 And they said, The Lord has need of him”.

The first thing we need to see about untying our potential so that we can reign over all our areas of pain, is that it will require us to go in directions that we have never gone in before. How many of you know, that in order to bring TRUE glory to God, sometimes we have to be willing to do some unusual things? (now don’t go crazy on me here)….Just like they questioned the disciples, expect people to question your motivation. When you are listening to the Lord, you can expect people to question your position. They’ll question your actions. They’ll question your purposes. They’ll question your motivation.

It says, regardless… “they found it just as He had said”… God will prepare you, for what He sends you to do. God’s not going to take this church anywhere she’s not prepared and willing to go. Christian, God won’t send you into any situation you aren’t prepared to go into. He always prepares us for what we’ll face. And He’ll give you the reasoning you need to get it done.

“The Lord has need of him…”The colt represented the untried, the unproven and the untested….The Lord has need of this new, untried thing. Brand new… never ridden… that’s talking about FRESH PATHS… NEW IDEAS… UNTAPPED RESOURCES.

There are going to be some NEW COLTS employed in the service of the Lord, and in that *…..process He will be glorified. That colt was going to present the Lord to the lost and sick, and the hopeless. We’re to present the Lord, even as the young colt did….as we are faithful to the burden of the Lord, the vision of the Lord, the gifts of the Lord, to carry His message. We’re to LIFT HIM UP, so that He can draw all men unto Him.

God is getting ready to have you LOOSE SOME COLTS for the Kingdom. Untying some potential for the Kingdom of God. Loosing some new ideas for the purpose of GLORIFYING HIM. Loosing some new opportunities for LIFTING HIM UP. Loosing some new avenues of CARRYING FORTH THE GOSPEL. Get ready to start LOOSING YOUR COLTS! Because we live in perilous times, and the Lord has need of them!!!! .

We all have colts that are still tied up…..dreams still unfulfilled, visions you have seen but you can’t touch them yet… ministries not yet released… and goals not yet attained….. You need to go and untie your colts, so you can ride WITH Him into triumph, so you can be part of the great processional of overcomers and triumphant sons and daughters of the true king, down through the ages!! Are we willing to untie some COLTS today? UNTIE every available means to carry the Lord to a lost and dying generation. I personally believe that we’re in a position to see some remarkable COLTS untied in our church, our city, our individual lives, and our community.

The disciples went out searching for that colt, that would carry the savior through the main drag of town. It may not look like something God would choose….because it’s an untried, unused, new colt….. it could look like a drug addict, or a prostitute, or an ungodly politician, it may be someone in your family, or the boss you can’t stand, or maybe a fellow employee you’ve been praying would get promoted just so you don’t have to work with them….have you been out searching for a colt the Lord has need of…..Say it with me…..”The Lord has need of Him”…… ,.

.A little old Jewish man, in his nineties was walking along the road, and someone comes up and says to him, “sir, you have been a Christian for a very long time. You have seen much and done much with God by your side. You have prayed all kinds of prayers too. So what would you place as top priority when you pray for people?” and his answer was ..., .“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” That old man was the apostle John the beloved… As John has stated, this has always been and will always be God’s plan for our lives….

We will have ups and we will have downs, but God tells us in Deuteronomy 28:13…”the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath”… .”What you are going through is only temporary, it’s going to come full circle. Keep believing that you are above only and not beneath, even when you have hit rock bottom. It is God who always causes you to triumph in Christ. The Lord is pulling you up above it, It truly is under your feet, not over your head!!!

We always want to see it and then we’ll believe it, But the Lord says, believe it and you shall see it!!!

When you hear the Lord saying within you “loose it and let it go”…… it’s as good as done! He’s already been there to make preparations…..whether it’s fishing boats that are about to make an abundant catch, a leper who’se about to get a new lease on life, a fish with tax money in it’s mouth, or a prostitute about to be stoned, who became one of the foundation stones of the church….asked a similar question and his reply was, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

He tells us that we are not of the world…. We are a new species of kingdom people in the earth…..that have been transformed by the power of the Spirit to handle eternal substance,…. because He overcame we will also overcome……..you are the head…because you are leading in faith, not following in fear….The Lord has need of you, because the time has come….You are destined to win….so get in the winner’s circle and get out of the que-sa-ra… sa-ra chorus line!

I want to share with you the words of David Guinn’s poem "The Fellowship of the Unashamed"... "I am a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. My past is redeemed, my present now makes sense and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight-walking, small planning, smooth knees, whimpy dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and stunted goals. I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits or popularity. I don't have to be right, or first, or tops, or recognized, or praised, or rewarded. I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer and labor by a deep sense of gratitude. My pace is set, my vision is quickened, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way may be rough, my companions may be few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I won't give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give as I have been given, preach until all will know and work until He comes. And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. For My colors will be clear and my commitment unmistakable".

You Have An Appointment With God.....By Pastor Charles C Elliott

We have been given an appointment with God… we just need to show up! …….This is a one-on-one with God Almighty, that each of us must have! So, it’s important that you don’t miss your appointment….

A man named Bill, had finally made it to his doctor's office for a long overdue neurological exam. The doctor said, "You're over a month late for your appointment, Bill. How can I get you to understand that nervous disorders require prompt and regular attention." "Well”, Bill said, “I was simply following your orders, Doc". "Following my orders? I gave you no such order." Said the Doctor….."Oh, but you did, Doc, you told me to avoid all the people who irritate and upset me". Delay is a form of denial… and often we delay the inevitable to our own harm… that’s why so many folks have ended up a day late and a dollar short….

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; *…3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 3:9 Otherwise, what is the profit for the one that works or the one who labors? 3:11 But, He has made everything beautiful in His time: also he hath set the world, so that no man can find out the work that God performs from the beginning to the end. 3:12 I know that the greatest good, is for man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 3:13 And that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labor, it is the gift of God. 3:14 I know that, whatever God does, it shall be forever: nothing can be added to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God does it, that men should stand in Awe, before Him”.

You have an appointment with God….Yes, you do. It is there, written indelibly in eternity. In fact, God wants to meet with you on a regular basis, because of all those appointments He has made for your life….Maybe God is saying… “I tried to talk with you, but you have been so busy. You talk on the phone, you text everyone, you email, you write your Face Book friends…..But, What about Me”?....

Remember how Adam and Eve had an appointment to walk and talk with God every day in the Garden of Eden? God would drop by the garden in the cool of the evening. One day, they missed that appointment because of sin. God showed up and He asked, "Where are you?" I wonder if the Lord would ask some of us, what he asked Adam *…..and Eve…."Where are you? Where were you? I have been looking for you. I wanted to speak to you. I want you to walk with Me, and I want to just hang out with you."
Just imagine, the Creator of the Universe wants to spend time with you. Is there any appointment that is any more worthy of keeping than that one?

James A. Garfield was the only president of the United States who was an ordained minister. After his inauguration, a member of his cabinet insisted that a meeting be called at 10am on Sunday to handle a matter which he felt threatened our country’s national security. President Garfield refused on the grounds that he had another appointment. The cabinet member then insisted that the national matter was of such importance that the president should break whatever other appointment he had. Garfield refused. The cabinet member remarked, “I would be interested to know, sir, with whom you could have an appointment so important that it cannot be broken.” Garfield replied, “I will be as frank as you are, sir. My appointment is with the Lord, to meet Him at His house and at His table at 10:30am, and I will be there.”

It is imperative that we keep our appointments with God… if you’ve made a promise, keep it. If you’ve made a vow, honor it!

We Have An Appointment For Ministry

.... if we could just imagine ourselves as the small, insignificant pieces of bread and fish, that Jesus multiplied and fed the multitude with… (so little compared with such an immense need)…but that bread had an appointment with the master… like the bread and fish, we are insufficient in ourselves, compared to the challenges we face every day….I’ve shared with you that The Holy Spirit told me one day, to pray a simple prayer, and to imagine that I was the miracle bread and fish which Jesus used to feed the hungry multitude and that I was so insufficient to meet such a great need….. *……It’s what I call the “multiplication prayer”. *……“Lord, Take me, break me, bless me, and give me away!” (let’s all pray that prayer right now)…. You have an appointment to release miracles….. God will take you at your word, When you declare His word that you have simulated and allowed to become part of who you are… all kinds of supernatural appointments will begin to show up as you yield to Him…. You are only, one person, one phone call, one meeting away from something incredible!

Sometimes we would like to be somewhere else, doing something else, even be someone else! Be yourself… everyone else is already taken!

It is you, that God placed where you are, doing what you’re doing, being who you are, so that you can touch lives as no one else but you can…. touch in a way, only you can!

At times we have been in situations where we weren’t sure what God was doing in the experience we were going through… and I have mentioned it before, but I’ll mention it again…..the Holy Spirit told me to pray the prayer of Peter, when I was in those situations that I wasn’t sure how to pray. I opened my bible and read *…..Matthew 14:28 “And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.” I asked, how do I pray that in my situation? He said “stop looking at what you’re going thru, and look at Jesus… then ask to be where He is…

Where He is, the answer is, where He is, the power is and where He is, God’s will is. His will is exactly where we want to be. No matter what it looks like in the natural… it is always about ministering to people.. Every situation you are in, Holy Spirit said, is about ministry first and everything else second! Sickness, is about an opportunity to minister to someone else through the sickness, after that, the healing comes….! Folks delay healing because they fail to discern the opportunity for ministry. If you come to where Jesus is, then you are in a place to minister to others so that your miracle can be released. The quicker you find out why you’re in a situation, the quicker you come out and move on to the next thing!

We have an appointment to harness the situation for Ministry.

Even though sometimes, it looks like your appointment is An appointment with disappointment! God doesn’t make mistakes, so He never has to backstroke when He brings us into something or allows a certain situation…. *….A fellow was crying crocodile tears, while writing a note to his fiance’…… My Dearest Sweetie, the love of my heart. I’ve been so desolate ever since I broke off our engagement. I am completely and totally devastated. Won’t you please consider coming back to me? You hold a place in my heart no other woman can ever fill. I will never find another woman quite like you. I need you so much. Won’t you forgive me and let us make a new beginning? I love you so. Yours always and forever, John….. P.S. Congratulations on winning the state lottery.

Abraham and Sarah could have no children, yet God had said that nations were within them…their appointment with disappointment became the path to their appointment with God’s grace….

and BAM! Isaac came right on God’s schedule! *…Manoah, and his wife (her name is not given) were childless, she was barren and their great yearning became the signal to the angel messenger, who transformed their disappointment into an appointment with God’s grace which….

BAM! produced Samson, the mighty deliverer of Israel! *…Zachariah, the High Priest and his wife Elizabeth, both righteous before God and advanced in years, could have no children, yet their disappointment prepared them for their appointment with God’s grace

and BADA BING! John the Baptist, who would prepare the way of the Lord, was born right on schedule! Your area of greatest disappointment may well be the catalyst for your own appointment with God’s grace, in His perfect timing…

Isaiah 65:24 “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. (Now go back and look at the rest of this scripture) *…Isaiah 65:19 And I will rejoice and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. v20 There shall no more be an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days: for they shall be blessed to an hundred years old. v21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and enjoy the fruit of them. v22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. v23 They shall not labor in vain, nor reap trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring as well, with them.

We have an appointment with Prophetic Breakthrough….

God has declared that in the last days we will see an oppressed church - an ineffective church, THAT WILL BE transformed into a glorious, powerful church, that has a global appointment with God! The church of Laodicea represents the state of the church before Christ returns…Scripture gives us the description….

They were Poor, naked, deceived, religious, compromising and powerless…. Yet, He gave a challenge to that church…. *…Revelation 3:18 to… “buy” (ag-or-ad'-zo….acquire, attain, secure, receive) of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, so the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with (spiritual) ointment, that you may see….

We read more about this in Joel…. Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar (the butterfly is inside but it needs to get out), and the palmerworm….. v26 And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. v28 And it shall come to pass, in those days, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: v29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit”.      SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE’S GETTING READY FOR A BREAKTHROUGH!

Why does God want so intensely, for me to have a breakthrough?”

The answer is because He watches over His Word to see that it is performed. He doesn’t just speak into your future… He’s been in your future and speaks from that future place of your breakthrough, and He’s hovering over every word He’s spoken into your life by His Spirit!

Breakthrough, is when the spiritual wall or partition, is broken down and removed, that has been keeping you from occupying or possessing the promises of God regarding the harvest of your seed, the fruit of your labor, the increase of your investments, and the breaking of curses from off your life!

It is the restoration of your peace, your health, your family, your finances, and a returning to the place where the free flowing Spirit of God is made available so that we are repositioned to receive all that our covenant God has made available for us.

Allow me to tell you a story about a seventy-two-year-old minister named Charles McCoy (not the same man as the former mayor of Key West). McCoy was pastoring a church in a little town in, New York, when at age seventy-two he was required by his denomination to retire. A lifelong bachelor, he had cared for his mother for as long as she lived. In his spare time he had earned seven university degrees, including two Ph.D.’s—one from Dartmouth, the other from Columbia. But now, at age seventy-two, he was being forced to retire from the ministry. He says…. “I was depressed. I just laid on my bed thinking that my life was over, I’ve been pastor of this church for so many years and nobody really wants me —what have I done for Christ? I’ve spent an awful lot of time working for degrees, but what does that count for? I haven’t personally won very many people to the Lord.” A week later he met a Christian pastor from India, and on impulse asked him to preach in his church. After the service the Indian brother asked him matter-of-factly if he could return the favor. Since he had preached for McCoy, would McCoy come to India and preach for him?

McCoy told him that he was going to have to retire and move to a home for the elderly down in Florida. But the Indian minister insisted, informing McCoy that where he came from, people had great respect for a man when his hair turned white. Would he come? McCoy, after much thought, and prayer, decided he would. Dire predictions were made. The chairman of his board of deacons asked, “What if you die in India?” And McCoy told him “it’s just as close to heaven from there as it is from here.” He sold most of his belongings, put what was left in a trunk, and booked a one-way passage to India—his first trip ever out of the United States! When he arrived in Bombay, he discovered to his horror that his trunk was lost. All he had were the clothes on his back, his wallet, his passport, were all gone, but he had the address of the missionaries, he had written down before he left . The missionaries welcomed him warmly, but told him that the man who had invited him to come to India was still in the U.S.A. and would probably remain there indefinitely.

Having come this far, and having made the commitment…. McCoy said he would try to make an appointment with the mayor of Bombay. They warned him that the mayor was very busy and they had never been able to get an appointment with him. McCoy set out for the mayor’s office the next day—and he got in! When the mayor saw, the paper work, listing all his degrees, he reasoned that McCoy must be someone very important. Not only did he get an appointment, but the mayor held a tea in his honor, attended by all of the officials in Bombay! Dr. McCoy was able to preach to those leaders for half an hour. The director of the National Defense, invited McCoy to preach at India’s West Point Academy.

So it was, that at age seventy-two, a brand new, sixteen-year ministry was launched for Dr. Charles McCoy. Until he died at age eighty-eight, this old man circled the globe preaching the gospel. There is a church in Calcutta today because of his preaching and a thriving group of Christians in Hong Kong as well. He never had more than just enough money than to get him to the next place he was to go. He died one afternoon at a hotel in Calcutta, as he resting for a meeting he was to preach that evening. He had indeed found himself as close to heaven there, as he would have been at his church in, New York, or in a retirement home in Florida. (tell someone Keep the fire burning, and throw on another log)

We have an appointment with God’s Grace:

Look at some Of the apostle Paul’s comments About Grace
Galatians 1:15 – “He has called me by His grace!” ....Ephesians 2:8 – “For by grace are you saved through faith!”....Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

Grace is God doing for us what we do not deserve….In the Bible, grace and mercy are like two heads of the same coin. Grace is God giving to me blessing and favor, that I do not deserve, Mercy is God keeping judgment or evil from me, that I do deserve….                Romans 5:20 – “Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”.....Romans 5:2 – “We have access by faith into this grace in which we stand!”

Paul –is saying “I don’t stand before you as Saul of Tarsus, my name was changed, because I’m not the same man since God’s great Grace came into and upon my life……Neither do I stand before you in my own goodness as Paul the Apostle. I stand in the extraordinary grace of God! My identity and my destiny is in Him! I didn’t deserve it, there is nothing good in me, but God called me by His grace, He saved me by His grace, He sanctified my by His grace, He justified me by His grace, now, I stand in and live each and every day in His grace and mercy!
If we ever wonder how we’re doing in the area of the working of Grace in our lives… *….we can check ourselves against the list God has given us in Galatians 5:22 &23… We have commonly referred to this list as the “Fruit of the Spirit” but for the sake of our consideration today…

I want to call this list, “The evidences of Grace” in our lives….

Galatians 5: 22&23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and temperance. There is nothing that can be effective against these”.

These Evidences of Grace, have to do with God reflecting and projecting His Divine nature through us! Just as this projector is shining images upon the screen that are in my computer… so grace reflects on the screen of our lives, that which is in the nature of God!

Let’s look at these for a moment….. (1) Grace is reflected by Love….. Jesus Himself, said that love is *…the greatest thing! It is the unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the well being of another and is the foundation for all the other graces. Jesus said Love is greater than the impact of faith and hope… That really is quite a statement! Without love, faith is boastful and without love, hope becomes selfishness.

(2) Grace is reflected by Joy….. I was in a fast food restaurant and after I ordered, I told the guy to be sure to mention to the attendant at the drive through, that she had a beautiful smile, her smile, brightened up the entire place and made a hum-drum experience into something special!

Joy, is about being joyful, cheerful, rejoicing, and celebrating, with a deep, abiding, gladness of heart. I read a quote recently that said….”Until further notice, celebrate everything”!!!!

(3) Grace is reflected by Peace….Jobs are no longer as secure as they used to be.. Over half of all marriages are still ending up in divorce. We are all forced to constantly live under the threat of future terrorist activity…It can all attack your sense of peace.

Peace is a sense of well-being, fulfillment and tranquility of soul, which results in rest, harmony and the absence of agitation or discord. *

(4). Grace is reflected by Patience…. Folks get impatient waiting in any kind of line. Road rage is still a major problem on some of our highways. Look at someone the wrong way and they will want to try and take your head off. Many people have been killed or seriously injured because someone lost his temper over something that was very trivial..

Satan’s best strategy is to divide and conquer. He wants to separate us from one another and from the principles and values of God’s word, and get us to believe something will happen, when it won’t and believe that something won’t happen when it will!!!

Impatience is a battle between the wills, our will and God’s will.. Patience is endurance and steadfastness in the face of adversity and suffering by the surrender of the will… (not my will but Thine be done, Oh, God)

(5) Grace is reflected by Kindness…it’s really about honor.. treating others with respect and consideration. We can’t give honor to God, and not give honor to folks around us. Kindness, is caring from the heart, hospitality, compassion in action with no thought of return. Concern for the welfare of others.

(6) Grace is reflected by Goodness… it’s not so much about how much of the Spirit of God you have, but how much of you the Spirit has.. You can see it and you can feel it when you are around God inside-minded people… It is a “less of me and more of Christ” way of living.. John said “I must decrease and He must increase” *…Goodness is that flow of Divine virtue which produces a purity of motive and action, manifested in the character and personality of a deeply surrendered life.

(7) Grace is reflected by Faithfulness… it’s that resolve within the soul, that there is no turning back, from a commitment that has been made. It is unswerving trust, first in God and then loyalty to your spouse, to your children, to your parents, to your good friends, to your boss and your employee and so on….

A true friend will stay by your side for life, when all around you, folks are bailing out of their contracts and agreements. *…Faithfulness is about integrity, fidelity, dependability, loyalty and stability. Someone who is true to his promise, faithful to his task and worthy of trust.

(8) Grace is reflected by Gentleness… So many people have been beaten up and hurt in their dealings with other people – that just a gentle word, a gentle touch from another Christian can really open up the door for that person to be able to receive God’s healing, saving and delivering power into their lives. *…Gentleness is controlled strength, it is fair and considerate….it is power under discipline… it is about someone who rules their spirit and their passions well….. When grace rules, peace reigns!

(9) Grace is reflected by Temperance… We all have a certain amount of character flaws operating in our personalities. The Bible says that our spirits and our flesh are at war with one another. Our flesh wants gratification, while our spirit knows that some things must wait or have no place at all! We live in a very self-centered and materialistic world, that has caused us to neglect developing will power…..We want to learn how to really walk in the Holy Spirit, but we also want to obey the lusts of our flesh. We will have very little victory, without resolving this important area of spiritual maturity.

Temperance is the restraint of natural impulses, the mastery of personal desires and passions…. It is discipline exercised over behavior… It is being in the world but not of the world.

In a comic strip, Charlie Brown is playing with the football, when Lucy comes in and announces she wants it. Charlie asks her why she thinks she can just come in and take whatever she wants, since he had it first… Lucy makes a fist and says “these five fingers”! Charlie gives her the football and leaves the room feeling like a whimp. He stops and looks at his five fingers, and says, “Why can’t you guys get organized like that?”

The extraordinary grace and mercy of God, have a way of compelling us in a way that even “Lucy’s five fingers, cannot”!
It is impossible to have a situation too big for the God of covenant and grace to handle. He has gone to great lengths so we can experience the height, the depth, the breadth, and the width of His grace…
All of us, have all the extraordinary grace we will ever need.
YOU REALLY ARE AT THE RIGHT PLACE, AT THE RIGHT TIME, FOR A BIGGER PURPOSE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!

Let God’s Grace re-fire you and bring back into your life, things that He is still desiring to fulfill in you…. You see, you are right in the middle of an appointment with grace. The extraordinary grace of God is above, beneath, around and within you right now. Grace has been waiting for a meeting with you today… You have a very important, life changing appointment with grace….The more broken, dented and messed up our lives are, the greater, the display of His grace will be towards us….
We make appointments with the mechanic, the plumber, the phone and cable company…why not make an appointment with God’s grace….He’s waiting to fix you up with what you don’t deserve, and cancel out all those things that you do deserve… that’s what grace is waiting to do for you!!!

*…..Strength In Our Weakness…by pastor Charles Elliott

Foolishness and weakness are interchangeable words in the scripture, So, scripturally, as I set the groundwork for my scripture text today, we could be correct in saying “Strength in Our Foolishness” as the title…..(of course, no one here has done anything foolish, those were the folks in another church which I pastored!!!!

(Anyhow) If you have flown on an airplane, then you have been asked something foolish, at security check in, “has anyone put anything in your luggage, with or without your knowledge”….. (I’m sorry, but if they did it without my knowledge, then I don’t KNOW…?)

Or perhaps you’ve heard of the lady who requested that a deer crossing sign be moved to a safer location, because too many deer were being hit by cars there….. (did she actually think that the deer were reading the sign?)

Or how about the woman who’s land line was out of order, so she went to a pay phone to schedule a repairman. He told her that they could come between 9am and 7pm. She asked if they could give her a smaller window of time, and he said, we’ll call you before we come…(will that really work?) .We probably wouldn’t like it if someone told us that we were being foolish, ignorant, or sounding stupid, as a matter of fact, we would probably resent it, and yet, that is exactly what the bible calls us, it says that God chooses foolishness…..but then, who are we to argue with God.

1 Corinthians 1:26−29 “For you see your calling, (klay-tos' ….. assignment or appointment) brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called, but God has chosen the foolish (mo-ros'…absurd, stupid, insipid) things of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty and base (shameful and disgraceful) things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yes, even things which are not, to bring to nothing things that are… that no flesh (personal agenda or ego) should glory in his presence”.

Paul could write these words because he understood this truth of ministering in his weakness. Paul received many incredible revelations from the Lord. And at one point he was even taken up to a place he referred to as the “third heaven” where he heard something so divine that he was not allowed to repeat what it was that he heard.

Paul had asked God in 2 Corinthians 12:9 to remove a very troubling problem that was a hindrance to him, (I wonder how many times God sees how foolish our prayers are, when we request things that let Him know we have no clue as to what He is actually doing in our lives or the lives of others we’re praying about)….after praying three times about it, God’s answer was…..“My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in your weakness” .

More and more, I am realizing that I need to begin my prayers in every situation, requesting that God would allow me to understand and accomplish His intended purpose and outcome and I bind, annihilate and nullify anything that would hinder His intention and His plan, whether it made sense or not.

Why is it that God prefers to reveal His strength in our weakness? Perhaps we will have a better understanding as we consider the story of Isaiah when he was about to be ordained into the prophetic ministry. Isaiah 6:1 “In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord…” Uzziah was a king who died in pride, for he had become diseased in his mind. It is recorded that He had entered the temple and offered incense on the altar, although he was strictly forbidden to do so. ……

King Uzziah had mistakenly thought he could do whatever he pleased, however he pleased, and still suffer absolutely no consequences. The year King Uzziah dies, represents the year that pride dies.

It’s synonymous with the defining moment when we finally realize we don’t have any strength in ourselves—it is when our natural tendency to do our own thing, even doing it in the name of God, dies. It is when we realize that we don’t have the right or the knowledge and insight into the future, that is adequate enough to chart our own course in life. That’s the point when we truly get a revelation of the Lord!

At the time Isaiah had his vision, he was just beginning to operate in the office of the prophet and God was about to commission him…..just as the Lord is about to commission us as His church in a new fresh way, to move more in the gifts and callings upon our lives, as the coming of Christ draws near. God is on the verge of releasing a fresh anointing as He commissions us to represent Him at a new level, in our generation.

There are many who might argue, saying “Oh, God, I have known You for so long, but I am so weak. I am not as smart as other people, I don’t have the finances, and I don’t have the pedigree, like others have. Lord, don’t I need to have my act all together to be effective? How are You ever going to use me Lord?” …..

When we are tempted to look in dismay at our weaknesses, consider what followed in Isaiah’s vision.

Isaiah 6:1 “…I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up ..And his train filled the temple…”

The Lord is high and lifted up. That means He is above every name that is named, every kingdom that ever will be, every power, every principality, every circumstance, every trial—He is above it all! Nothing escapes His attention, and nothing is allowed to happen without His permission. Isaiah said “... his train filled the temple…” What an incredible picture, of the power of this image of God’s glory sweeping and billowing and moving throughout the entire area of the temple…….It is especially illustrated for us in light of the story which we are given in…

Matthew 9:21 “And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Him, v22 For she said within herself, If I may but touch the hem of His garment, I shall be made whole”. This woman had to press through all her mess, her cultural status, the stigma of her condition, and the pressing of the crowd to get to Jesus. She pressed through her long and costly affliction, and she kept a faith filled confession through her weariness, and when she finally touched the hem of His garment, immediately she was made completely whole. This woman touched the hem of Jesus garment, but Isaiah’s revelation brings something much more encompassing to us here… Isaiah said that the hem of His garment filled the temple.

In other words, there was nowhere in the temple where you couldn’t touch Him and be healed! So, let’s consider how, you and I are the temple of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament church. The presence of Christ is within us, and what Isaiah saw, is now a reality in the Spirit occupied, Spirit filled body of a New Testament believer—The hem of His garment fills the temple and His Spirit’s power is accessible and available to every believer! That means there is no area of your mind, your body, your past, present or future that God can’t touch. In other words, the healing of Jesus is in every part of you!

Isaiah 6:2 “Above it stood the Seraphim: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly”. Notice that the Seraphim were not even looking where they were going, for they were covering their faces with two of their wings. They were not traveling in natural strength, for they covered their feet with two wings as well. They were moving in, and operating in God’s divine power and by His Spirit. It is incredible to imagine that there are thousands, of these created beings flying around the throne, yet there is no confusion or competition among them! Where God is, everything is in divine order. All that is created and remains in subjection to Him knows its course in life and moves together in harmony within their God designed purpose and destiny. They live and exist to be in the glory of God…..

Paul said, Acts 17:28 “For in Him we live, and move and have our being” These mighty angels which Isaiah watched, had one word which they declared over and over.

Isaiah 6:3 “And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory”. They did this non stop, and it was a continual back and forth declaration which resounded over and over, endlessly…

This word “HOLY” in Hebrew, conveys the thought of being separate from and far above and removed from the grip of sin and death; nothing comparable, without any equal; completely perfect; free from imperfections and the flaws and the failures of humanity. It also means that God is absolutely faithful with perfect integrity in every promise He has spoken. I prepared my message on Wednesday, so I was thrilled when the guest speaker on Thursday night had us act out this very scripture… to give it impact, I want us to do what he was showing us in that meeting. He divided us into two groups and had us face one another and we shouted in relay back and forth, what the angels did….. How could the earth be full of His glory? It is clear that the heavens declare the glory of God, so also, is the order we find in nature, working within and underneath everything. But as we read today’s newspapers and look around our society, we might well ask, “how can we possibly conclude that the whole earth is full of His glory”?

The power of Isaiah’s statement lies simply in this: The church of Jesus Christ (you and I) is still here on earth, as a powerful force, and the glory of God abides within us, His temple, and the church of Jesus Christ with a capital “C” is all over the earth, filling up the entire planet. This is one of the reasons why the earth is full of His glory. The main problem is that we don’t know who we are in Christ. We don’t truly understand, what we have inside of us. We live so much of our lives trying to be and do what only God can accomplish in our lives. If we don’t know who we are in Christ, we can never access all that is available and accessible. It is important that we know and believe this.. as we come before Him in prayer.

We come to a throne that is above every other throne of power, or seat of authority, a place of absolute and complete divine order, a place where healing flows constantly and powerfully. We come to a holy God who is absolutely faithful to all of His promises, the One who has commissioned us to be His representatives on the earth until the day He takes His church home to be with Him forever.

Albert Einstein, world-renowned physicist, said “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life feeling like a failure.” Of course, this could happen but God hasn’t gifted and called a fish to climb a tree. A fish doesn’t have arms or legs and can’t survive for long outside the water environment. However, if we focus on the fish’s ability to swim, then we are amazed at it’s graceful form, and it’s ability to maneuver as it glides through the water. As Einstein has said, everyone is a genius. God has given each of us incredible gifts through which He can work through us to transform our lives and the lives of others.

A large, well established, Canadian lumber camp advertised that they were looking for a good Lumberjack. The very next day, a skinny little man showed up at the camp with his axe, and knocked on the Foreman’s door. The Foreman took one look at the little man and told him, “I need a lumberjack, not a paper shuffler”. "Just give me a chance to show you what I can do," said the skinny man. "Okay, see that giant redwood over there?" said the lumberjack. "Take your axe and go cut it down." The skinny little man headed for the tree, and in five minutes he was back knocking on the lumberjack's door. "I cut the tree down," said the man, what next?. The foreman couldn't believe his eyes and said, "Where did you get the skill to chop down trees like that?" …."When I worked In the Sahara Forest," replied the puny little man. "You mean the Sahara Desert," said the Foreman. The little man laughed and said, "Oh sure, that's what they call it now!"

If we focus on what we can’t do...if we focus on our limited human nature and weaknesses.. and then compare our weaknesses to the strengths and abilities of others, then often we will feel like a failure. However, if we focus on God and what we can do when we partner with Him, when we allow Him to have His way and work in us and through us...then amazing things begin to happen.

Isaiah 6:5 “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah might have correctly wondered, “What do I have to offer this heavenly kingdom? It is so far beyond me. This place is so holy, it operates in divine order with absolute truth, integrity and perfection…..Isaiah came from perhaps the most religious, scholarly people on the face of the earth, yet he came to the conclusion that all their personal efforts, and their sacrifices to be righteous fell far short.

It popped the balloon of their inflated religious ego’s. Isaiah, was influential, he was a prince, he was educated and he claimed to be smart and learned, but in God’s direct presence he realized he was ignorant and less than nothing. We like to think we are strong and self-reliant but we are weak and helpless. When our eyes have seen the King, we know all our boasting is worthless. No matter how many zeroes you put after zero, it’s still worth zero, until God puts his “ONE” IN FRONT OF IT!!!! We claim to know what God is like, how He feels, and what He thinks, but it all falls far short, in the moment when our eyes have finally seen His glory and holiness! It was actually at this point of being brought to the place of feeling like a BIG ZERO, that Isaiah was about to be given the greatest revelation of HIS LIFE.

Isaiah 6:6–7 “Then flew one of the Seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: and he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this has touched thy lips; and my iniquity is taken away, and my sin is purged”. Through the work of the cross of Christ, the Lord says to each of us, “I have touched your lips, I have given you my redemption. Now come to Me, knowing who I am. I am above your weakness, I am above your frailty, I am above your circumstances, I turn your zero thing into everything you could hope for or imagine…..with eternity thrown in as a bonus.” Isaiah had all the training that was available through the schools of his day, he had been indoctrinated, saturated, and bloated with the theology of man, but now he came to the revelation that the kingdom of God is about grace and mercy and the Spirit’s enduement of power...Standing in the presence of God, he finally realized, “if God does not do it, then we are doomed.”

His immediate response was “I’ll go!” He knew the people needed to realize that all of their goodness and self-righteousness was as filthy rags. They needed to understand that the only way they would ever make it through to the place of being clean and being able to stand in God’s presence, was if He were to come and touch their lips, their motives, their abilities and talents and their lives. It is not because we have memorized verses or because we go to church, and do good works. We stand by the mercy of God alone, plus nothing!!! When you know the answer, you are excited about sharing it with everyone you know. You become a powerful, passionate evangelist of His grace, His mercy and empower-ment.

……A young preacher, was about to preach his first sermon and got himself pumped up and filled with positive thoughts, then went charging up to the pulpit, with his head high, expounding at full voice and going full throttle. About half way through, he began to flounder around and was grasping at something to say that was meaningful, hopping for a good closing. Finally, he wound down to a whimper, and humbly slipped out of the pulpit, with his face down. A veteran pastor, who was in the meeting came over after the service had ended, put his arms around the young man’s shoulders and said, “If you had gone up the way you came down, you would have come down the way you went up”… God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness.

When we are at our weakest…. when we realize that we can’t do it on our own, that is when God can do the most amazing things through us. When we stop focusing on what we CAN’T do and focus on what God can do and is, even now doing through us...that is when God can shine His brightest through us. But, it takes a change of focus...from us and our humanity, our hurts and our agenda, to God and His power.

A change of focus from the weaknesses we deal with as a result of being human, to the God breathed, God inspired gifts He gives us and the ways that God can use those gifts to work through us to transform the circle of our world.

We must let the power of the cross touch us and allow the sacrifice of Calvary to become sufficient for all of our sin.. That is why the Christian life is a life lived in mercy which is undeserved in and of ourselves. This realization will deliver anyone from a critical spirit, from the desire to gossip, gripe, judge others and complain.

Paul said that God allowed the weakness in his life to protect him from pride, assuring him that, “His grace is sufficient, because His strength is perfected in our weakness.”

.If you feel weak today, you can give God praise for it. You’re on the launching pad, to incredible things. You can say, “Lord, thank You for protecting me from spiritual pride and keeping me in a place where I can represent You. Less of me, more of You!!!

You can go to anyone in the city and say to them, ‘I’m not the person I used to be, for The Lord has been merciful to me, He has touched me, He is changing me sovereignly by His power.”

What are some ways that your struggles have made you see God clearer as you have allowed Him to work through you?

Think about your strengths. What gifts has God given you? If you’re not sure what those are, what do other people say that you’re good at? What brings you the most joy and fulfillment? How has God worked through you in touching other people’s lives in a deeper way.? This should show each of us, how God can work through and in spite of our limitations.

When we acknowledge our own weakness and our need for God’s strength, that is when God shines the brightest through us. God calls us to give our weak selves over to Him, so that we can partner with him to transform the lives of others and show ourselves and the world His strength, His love, and His perfection. The biggest question is, are we going to get out of the way and let his power, grace ad mercy do it?

.What good would it do us, to have a great car, but have no gas to put in it….you would still be walking. You could have a beautiful home, with the latest appliances and gadgets, but without electricity they would all be pretty useless. You could have the very latest computer, but if we didn’t know how to use it, it would just become another dust collector. We would say that any of these things under these conditions would be foolishness…..

.How foolish would it be for us to give the keys to our car to a 5 year old child and ask them to run an errand for us…. It’s the same way with God when we ask Him for some of the things we ask…..That’s why God has only 4 answers to any requests we make to him…it’s YES, NO, WAIT AND YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! But as we grow, develop, surrender and learn through the things He brings to teach us, He hands us the keys…..

.Chief Joseph was the chief of a very poor Indian tribe, but one day they discovered oil on the Indian land, and everything changed. For the first time, they were able to have things that other folks around them enjoyed. Chief Joseph wanted a new Cadillac convertible and now he had the money to get one. He was one happy Indian, and was excited about cruising down main street and showing off in his new car. Sure enough, everyone’s head turned as he approached, but it was because *……the chief had hooked up a team of horses to his big, new car, and they were towing it around town, because he had never learned how to use and operate the power that was under the hood. All that power under the hood and he was settling for two horses, because he didn’t understand how to tap into all the power he had available to him!!!

In Hebrews chapter 11 and verses 32 to 34, we read these familiar words, “And what more shall I say for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Samson who through faith subdued Kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quench the violence of fire, escape the edge of the sword, and out of their weakness we’re made strong”.

These two men who are mentioned, had some serious faults and flaws…Gideon was too weak to be of any use. And Samson was too strong to be of any use. Gideon didn’t believe that he couldn’t accomplish anything, and Samson believed he could accomplish everything. It is the contrast of The man who feels that he has nothing to offer and the man who feels that he has everything to offer. Two men; opposite extremes. One is weak and becomes strong; the other is strong and becomes weak.

God uses the humble, the fearful, the timid, the cowardly, empowering them through faith; and he humbles the mighty, and the bold for His own purposes.

.Hebrews 11:34 says this, “Out of weakness, they were made strong.” And we look at our lives and we wonder, “Can God use us in our weakness?” Oh yes, As a matter of fact, He prefers it to demonstrate His strength in our weakness….

.When a country is at war, often two types of people arise. There are those who make every effort to enlist in the cause of defending what they believe in their hearts is right, even if they are not yet of age, or if they have physical problems which might disqualify them.

There are others, however, who sit at home living in dread of receiving a letter that will compel them to join the fight. Many of these might simply be overwhelmed and are lacking the courage or confidence to be able to stand and complete that which will be asked of them as they think of the disciplines and dangers of war.

.God is commissioning His people in this hour. He is looking for those who are willing to say, “Here am I, send me”— “Who will go? Who will speak for me? Who is it that will not be ashamed or overwhelmed?

He needs hands to touch through…feet that will go… mouths to declare, teach, and edify…hearts to be moved with compassion…Those who respond are those who will believe that, despite their own frailties, the Holy Spirit will guide and operate through them. Do you know how God gets glory? He sends you and uses you….. perfecting His strength in your weakness and revealing His power in your imperfections….and He gets all the glory…. and that is how His glory fills the earth! Hallelujah! So, if you feel unworthy, you’re in exactly the right place for a mighty demonstration of God’s strength and power! You are positioned to discover His potential in you…..

.Do you receive it?......PRAYER IN AGREEMENT….

Lord Jesus, I put on Your love and walk in absolute trust and confidence in Your power, wisdom, and goodness. I no longer have to flinch in sacrifice, hesitate in adversity, negotiate with the enemy, or wallow in the maze of mediocrity. I now leave the past behind and walk in new life with You. Let Your Divine Wisdom and blessings flow through me Lord, as You position me for favor and blessing. I know that the thoughts You think towards me are thoughts of good and not of evil, thoughts to give me a future and a hope.

Lord, I praise You and thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think as you restore to me all that has been lost in a double measure in the coming days.

The fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily within me, for I am seated in heavenly places with Christ and my life is hidden in Christ. I am a joint heir with God in His plan concerning every living human being that I encounter. I have the ability to communicate to others the power of His life. I have access to His total supply for my body, soul, and spirit. I am not of this world, but I am a citi+zen of heaven and His ambassador in the earth. I overcome evil with good, for I am created for His glory, and I have been given the power to manifest His glory, nature and character on earth.

.I declare and decree that there shall be a performance of His living and creative Word and His people shall have a revelation of an abundance of peace, truth, health, prosperity, deliverance, safety, and abundant life. Every day is appointed, set apart, and designed for me to accomplish His will and as I yield myself as the instrument God, fill me with Your unlimited grace, power and love. Strengthen and use me more and more in the days to come. Enlarge my vision as You enlarge my territory, so that I can influence more and more lives for Your Kingdom and Your Glory.

In Jesus Name,

Amen!
